The name, and the idea
The best software is the kind you never have to think about. It opens fast, does what you came for, and gets out of your way.
That's harder than it looks — anyone can add features; the discipline is in what you leave out. The name comes from Grenada, the Isle of Spice, and the idea it's built on: a small, well-chosen ingredient turns something ordinary into something you remember. We build iOS apps the same way — the spice is in the details you feel but can't see; the noise is everything we refused to ship.
Silent Spice is an independent iOS studio in North Carolina, working in native Swift and SwiftUI from concept through App Store launch and beyond — including multi-language support, iCloud sync, Game Center, and complex data models. We build our own apps and we take on client work, held to the same standard.
