Know exactly where your iOS app stands — before you rebuild or rehire.
A senior-level audit of your app's architecture, performance, and App Store readiness. You get a written report and a prioritized action plan — fixed price, starting at $495 with 3-day delivery.
- ✓Architecture — module graph is testable
- ⚠Performance — memory leak in image cache → fix #1
- ✓App Store readiness — privacy labels match data collected
Who you're hiring
Hi — I'm Lismond B. Silent Spice is my studio, and I do every audit personally.
- 14+ years shipping for Apple platforms
- 8 years leading iOS development at Realm — church management apps serving 50,000 churches
- 2 years building retail apps for Verizon's largest authorized retailer
- Today: an independent consulting practice, plus my own apps on the App Store
What gets audited
Three areas, each examined against the standard I hold my own shipped apps to.
Architecture
- Module boundaries and the dependency graph
- Testability — can this code be tested without the network and the UI?
- Consistency of the MVVM / state-management approach
Performance
- Launch time and main-thread stalls
- Memory leaks and retain cycles
- Scrolling, rendering, and battery hot spots
App Store readiness
- Review-guideline violations, found before Apple finds them
- Privacy labels checked against what the app actually collects
- Entitlements, permission strings, and crash-on-review risks
How it works
Three steps. No discovery workshops, no scope creep.
You share access.
A read-only repo invite, or a buildable archive / TestFlight build — whatever you're comfortable with. NDA welcome.
I audit and write the report.
I read your code the way a new senior hire would — looking for what's subtly wrong, not just what's broken.
You get a prioritized action plan.
Findings ranked by impact and effort, so you know what to fix first — and what to safely ignore. The Advanced tier adds a 60-minute review call and a pairing session.

I don't just audit other people's apps — I ship my own to the same bar, and they're on the App Store today.
FAQ
What do I need to provide?
Read-only access to your repo, or a buildable archive. That's it. App Store Connect access helps for the readiness review but isn't required.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. Send yours, or I can provide a simple mutual one.
My app is Objective-C or years old — is that a problem?
No — that's often where an audit pays off most. 14+ years on Apple platforms covers plenty of Objective-C, UIKit, and migration work.
What happens after the audit?
You own the report and the action plan. Hand it to your team, use it to vet a hire, or bring it back to me — it's written so any senior developer can execute it.
Do you do the fixes too?
Yes. Audits often lead to follow-on engagements, and the action plan is scoped so that's easy to price. No obligation either way.
How is this different from a code review?
A code review looks at a change; an audit looks at the whole app — structure, performance, and store readiness — and tells you what matters in what order.
