Silent Spice ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Étude app for iOS. This policy is short because Étude collects nothing.
Nothing. Étude has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The app makes no network connections. Every score is parsed, built, and played entirely on your device.
The classical scores Étude builds, the MIDI it renders, and any playback settings you choose exist only on your device. When you export a MIDI file, it goes only where you send it through the standard iOS share sheet. We never see it.
Étude is open source. The complete source code, including everything this policy describes, is public at github.com/lismondbernard/etude. You do not have to take our word for any of this; you can read the code.
Because Étude collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.
If this policy ever changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
